Dracula: The Last Sanctuary (Dracula Resurrection 2)

By Jen and Almac

Carfax

Take a step toward the house, then turn right. Look at the base of the tree and take the oil can. Go to the wall and look at the relief. Take the knob in the center. Return and go past the house. Enter the dry pool to the left of the house, turn around, and take the knob from the relief in the wall.

To enter the house, use the key that's in your inventory when you start the game, then click on the door. Go up the stairs and into the door on the left. Go to the desk to your right and open the right drawer. Take the compass, the cylindrical lock mechanism, the book, and the candle. Open the chest and take the telescope and the candlestick. Go to the chest of drawers, look in the tin on the top, and take the slotted disk, the folded paper, and the matches. Look at the picture above the chest of drawers, turn the picture around, and take the paper that's behind it. Go to the alcove behind the screens. Use the candlestick on the table. In your inventory, use the matches on the candle, then use the candle on the candlestick. Take the key from the wall to the right of the candle. Use the key on the door just outside the alcove and enter the next room.

This would be a good time to save. Examine the still man propped against the door. When you take the key from his pocket, a monster bursts into the room. In your inventory, use the bullets on the gun, but then don't shoot the monster, instead shoot the lock on the door where the dead guy was standing. Take one step into the room and then turn around. Use the dresser to the left of the door. You will push it in front of the door to keep the monster out.

Take the chair from in front of the fireplace and place it under the boarded-up circular window. Now examine the fireplace and take the knob and the poker on the right. Go use the chair that you moved under the window, then use the poker on the window. Go to the opposite corner of the room and take the standing mirror. Turn around and use it in the beam of light from the round window. Go push the dresser away from the front of the door and watch some monster death and destruction. This is probably a good time to save unless you fancy doing all of that again.

Now go back and take the other standing mirror, which just goes into your inventory this time. Return back through the room with the dead fellow, then take a step straight forward into the middle of the next room. Use the mirror on the floor in the middle of the room, across from the monster in that room.

After the monster dies, go out the door to the balcony. You will be faced with another monster, with two more waiting downstairs. Turn away from the monster and make your way to the broken railing, then click on the chandelier.

Go to the left of the stairs and use the poker on the boarded-up doorway. Move the crate and take the bolt cutter. Move the crate back and take the fourth knob. Leave the basement, then go out the front door of the house, then turn right and use the bolt cutter on the chain locking the top of the black box in the yard. Use the oil on the upper right hinge, then open the grate.

Use the paper that you found behind the picture in the center of the box, then use the oil on the picture. Place the knobs and turn the dials to match the picture. Leave the other two holes/dials as is. Exit the puzzle, then look at the dial on the front of the box. Turn it. The pond is now full of water. Go back into the house, back into the basement, and now you can enter the door that was previously inaccessible.

You are now in a sewer. Turn to the left and continue down the tunnel until you reach a ladder. Go up the ladder and exit through the manhole.

The Asylum

You find yourself outside Dr. Seward's asylum. Knock on the door. After the attendant greets you, enter Dr. Seward's office (the only single door that you can use). Talk to Dr. Seward about the ring and the matches, then when you are back in the foyer, use the key that he gave you on the small door behind the desk.

Sewer

Turn right when given the option. At the first stop, locate and take the rope hanging on the wall. Go three more stops into the tunnel, and pick up the dial on the floor below the dial on the wall. In your inventory, use the rope on the dial. Continue down the tunnel as far as you can go. At the gate, use the rope/dial combo on the ladder. Cross, look down, use the toolbox, take the pipe wrench. Go back to the dial on the wall and use the pipe wrench on it. Take it. Go back and stand on the middle of the ladder and use the dial on the hole, then use the pipe wrench on the dial, then turn the dial. Cross the ladder to the far side, take the ladder, then use it on the right side of the hole. Go down the ladder, take the ladder, take the only step you can, then use the ladder and go up. Use the gun on the manhole and climb out.

Cemetery

Near one of the corners of the cemetery there is a ladder locked to a wall. Use Pibody's key on the lock and take the ladder. You can then use the ladder on one of the tombs near the center of the cemetery to climb up to the top. There you will find a bag containing a cross and a stake. Take them. When you go down, you will be confronted by a bad guy. Show him the cross. Go up the stairs, to the open grave that the guy fell into. Use the stake on his body. Examine his body and take his pocket watch and his book. Climb back up to the top of the crypt, use the compass on the horizon, then examine NW. Use the pocket watch on the hotspot. Climb back down and locate the tomb you just saw. Look at the figure to the right. Use its eyes, then (try to) enter the tomb.

The Asylum (Revisited)

Examine the doctor's desk drawers and take the stethoscope that's in one of them. Examine, then use, the picture above the fireplace to discover the safe. Examine the first dial, then use the stethoscope near the bottom left of the screen. Turn the knob until you hear a click. The first number is 8. Repeat for the other three dials. The second number is 3, the third is 4, and the fourth is 6. Open the safe and take everything: the key in the Hopkins book, the dragon ring, and everything out of the doctor's bag. Turn around, look at the floor near the striped chair, and take the ring. Return to the doctor's desk, examine the gramophone, play the cylinder to hear Mina's kidnaping. Remove that cylinder, put it in the case next to the gramophone, then use the cylinder from the safe on the gramophone. Use the gramophone needle to play the cylinder. On one of these cylinders, the needle sticks, and you have to click on it to continue. You will be told that 35 degrees is the correct setting, not 30 degrees. (Thanks to Kenny Donios for pointing this out.)

Leave Dr. Seward's office, then enter the door on the right side of the lobby, the one that was inaccessible last time we were in here. Examine the teacup on the desk, then take the sugar cube. In your inventory, use the matches on the sugar cube. Use the sugar/matches on the desktop to catch the fly. Go up the balcony, past all of the inmate doors, to the end. Enter the door. When faced by the bad guy, show him the cross. Then use the cross on the top of his head to make him shut up. Examine his waist area to find a key. Go back to the asylum floor and use the key on the desk drawer. Take the syringe. Go back to the guy strapped to the wheelchair and use the syringe on his arm.

Open the rolltop desk. Use the green bottle on the distiller, then use the syringe on the distiller. Put the green bottle on the desk under the distiller drip thing. Then click the plus to the right of the flame twice, and as soon as the thermometer reaches 35 degrees (note the green book says 30 degrees but it will not work, as you learned when you played the gramophone cylinders), click the minus once. Take the green bottle. In your inventory, use the green bottle on the gun.

Use the Hopkins key on the center door of the inmate cells. Use the fly/sugar/matches on Hopkins, and he tells you that Mina has been kidnaped by Dracula. Talk to him about the gun. He exchanges his spiffy glasses for your dragon ring.

A phone starts ringing. Go back to Dr. Seward's office and answer it (from the back of his desk; for some reason you can't do it from the chair side). Dracula gets uppity with you.

Return to the asylum, to the room where you concocted the green stuff. The wheelchair guy is gone. (Hopkins is gone, too.) Where the wheelchair guy was sitting is a trapdoor. Enter.

Sewers (Again)

In the sewers again, take right turns at every opportunity, then use Hopkins's glasses in the tunnel. Follow the footprints. When you reach the electrical switches, you should save—a near-death experience is coming up. Flip the left switch, and then the wheelchair guy will try to attack you. Use Hopkins's glasses on him, then shoot him on the bloody spot with the anti-vampire bullets.

Walk around the platform to the other exit. Go as far as you can, then look on the wall to the left. Pull the ring. Use the cylindrical thing with the X-acto blade that you've had almost since the start on the slot in the left circle. Take it back, and then look in your inventory. The blade has been separated from the cylinder. Use the blade on Dracula's book, then use the vampire glasses, then put the blade point on the symbol that matches the one in the right circle of the diagram on the wall. Remember, the numbers on the wall were 2 _ _ 1 3 4. The numbers revealed in the book by the top of the blade are:

3 0 8 1
5 2

And the numbers revealed by the bottom of the blade are:

1 3
4 2

The numbers on the wall indicate the columns in the book and the order of the numbers to take. So the first number comes from the fourth column in the book, and since there are two numbers to choose from, the numbers on the bottom of the blade tell you that number one is the top number, i.e., 3. The second number is 5, the third is 8, and the fourth is 2. In your inventory, examine the cylinder and set the numbers to 3582, then use the blade on the cylinder and use the combination on the slot in the wall. Take back the cylinder. Now you can enter the door next to the puzzle.

The Styx

Go to the projector downstairs at the back of the room. Use the slotted disk that you've had since near the beginning of the game in the slot on the side of the projector. Watch the movie. Go to the organ upstairs, to the left of the movie screen, examine it, and use the slotted paper on the hotspot.

Dracula's Bedroom/Movie Set

Go to the foot of the bed and look under it. Retrieve your gun. Exit through the right-most door. Use the vampire glasses, then shoot the figure on the bloody spot. Continue into the set. After Seward comes down in the elevator, find the panel with the red/green lights. Open it, then throw the switch. Take the jeweled sword from the griffin statue and use it on the Dracula figure. Use the broken sword on the switch box on the wall.

Go to the left (from facing the wall) and take the rope/hook and crank. Go back to the ladder and climb up (one click). Turn around and look down. Use the crank on the hole in the black box. Then use the crank handle. Take a step and then pixel-hunt to the right of the end of the path until you get a hotspot on some ropes. Use the broken sword. Now you can climb up the structure that fell down. Then look up and climb into the air duct.

Go forward until you see a moving fan to the right. Use the sword on the fan to break it, and then you can go past it. Take a left when you get to the end, then take the pin holding the grate up. Go back the other way, as if you had taken a right instead of a left, and use the pin on the grate at the end of that path. Examine the hole, and use the hook/rope on the hotspot. That finishes off the Dracula dummy. Look in the hole again and examine the dummy. Use the disk on its chest and then take the tuning fork thing. Examine the hand, take the bracelet, then turn the hand over and use the wrist. Take the strange key that pops out of the index finger. Step into the elevator and use the finger key on the lock. You are back in the Styx.

Go down the stairs and use the figure below the movie screen. Seward takes your gun and gives you the key to his laboratory. Examine the organ. Use the vampire glasses on it, and then use the key that lights up. Exit through the secret passage. Use the boat, and then continue down the passage a couple of steps until you see a door on the left. Next to the door is another one of those cylinder/number puzzles. This time the code is 8462. You find yourself back in Carfax.

Carfax Revisited

Take the cloth-covered crates. Leave the basement, then use the crates under the stairs. Take the hedge clippers, the hatchet, and the sledge hammer. Go back upstairs, to the alcove behind the screen, and retrieve the candle. Light the candle in your inventory. Use the sledgehammer on the desk in that same room and take the wood. Go to the next room, where Pibody's body used to be, and use the hedge clippers on the curtains. Pick up the cloth from the floor. Go back downstairs and use the cloth on the top crate and the desk wood on the right crate. Go back into the basement and use the hatchet on the coffin. Pick up the wood. Go upstairs and use it on the third crate. Back up from the close view and use the candle on the pile of crates.

Look in the small cubbyhole next to the door at the back of the basement and take the key. Use the key on the door, then leave.

Go down the stairs, then turn around and examine the dial next to the stairs. Use it, then go down into the water. Save here. Use the junk to move it, then use the dial. Surface for air, then go back down, through the passage that opened up when you turned the dial.

Back in the sewer, go down the path three clicks, then climb up the ladder to the left and out the manhole.

Asylum

Go back down into the asylum, back into the utility room, and use Dr. Seward's key on the double doors. Examine the curtain under the table, then use it. Use the photo negative on the lens assembly, then use the light switch, then use the rectangle on the back wall. Use the lens assembly again to expose the film. Use the film. It will move to the right side. Examine the picture and note the settings shown, -2, 7, and 4.

Back off from the close-up and examine the top of the table. Take and read the note under the apparatus door. Pick up the piece with two coils and put it in the cabinet. Do a close-up of the dial and set it to -2. Then pick up the screwdriver-looking thing and put it in; do a close-up and adjust it to 4. Then put in the single coil. Then put in the remaining piece, do a close-up of it, and adjust it to 7. Take the piece from the top of the two-coil part and replace it with the tuning fork. Close the door and take the apparatus crank, and then the entire apparatus. Back out into the storeroom, and then use the trapdoor in the corner.

Take one click to the left, and then turn right and look at the rats. In your inventory, look at the note you picked up from near the apparatus and turn it over. It shows you how to use the mechanism to get rid of the rats. In your inventory, use the crank on the mechanism, then do a close-up of the mechanism. Push the bottom left button, and then you will get a special cursor. Point it at the rats and click. Go back into your inventory and look at the mechanism again. The reading on the left dial is now 7. Turn the knob until the right dial is set to 7 also, then click the bottom right button. Click the special cursor on the rats, wait a second, and they will be done for. Go down the corridor. Turn right at the end, then continue all the way down, back to the platform where you once killed the wheelchair guy.

Examine the switchbox. Use the smooth key that you got from the movie studio air ducts in the hole at the bottom. Examine the switches again and flip the right switch. The walkway shifts to a different exit; go that way as far as you can. Then turn around and look down; take the wood and use it on the other side of the hole. Walk across, look up, and exit through the hole.

Cemetery

Look at the tomb that Dracula disappeared into last time you were here. Remember, you tried opening it and fainted dead away? Click on the head to the right of the door, and then use its eyes. Back up and then try to enter the tomb. You get a new entry in Dracula's red book showing the use of the rat-killing apparatus on the three animal heads.

Leave the book, then go to the cemetery front gates, then turn left and take one step. Look at the bricks on the outside wall to the right. There is one that you can examine and then use. Take the note and the dragon ring.

Continue in the direction you were heading, away from the front gate, and take one step past the corner. Look up at the tall mausoleum; you can barely distinguish an animal head at the top. In your inventory, crank up the rat-killing apparatus, examine it, push the left bottom button, and point the cursor at the animal head. Click when the apparatus lights are green to take a reading. Back in your inventory, examine the apparatus again and adjust the right dial to match the left dial, then push the right bottom button. Use it again on the head.

Go back past the front gates and continue to the corner. In your inventory, crank the apparatus again, examine it, push the left bottom button, and take a reading on the top corner of the outside wall of the cemetery (the apparatus lights will turn green when your cursor is in the right spot). Examine the apparatus in your inventory again, set the right dial to match the left dial, push the right bottom button, and use it on the top corner of the wall.

Turn to the right and go down the pathway one click. Repeat the apparatus steps on the top of the crypt toward the right. Return to Dracula's tomb, near the center of the cemetery, and now you can walk right in.

Examine the plaque in front of the tomb. Change the numbers on the four corners to match the note that you retrieved from the cemetery wall, 9 2 7 8, then click on the button below the creature's chin. The tomb moves aside, revealing a staircase; go down. You will be prompted to insert CD 2.

The Mine

This will look familiar to anyone who played the first Dracula game. Make your way to the bottom of the stone stairs, then climb up the pile of blocks and take one more step to find a hammer and chisel. Take them and go back down.

Go back halfway up the stairs and inspect the lock on the cage door. Note the symbol under the creature's chin is a half moon. Look at the phases of the moon page in Dracula's red book and use the vampire glasses to reveal the code, 9426. Examine the lock again and enter the code, clockwise starting at the top left, then click on the half-moon symbol. Go through the gate.

Approach the giant head, then turn right and click on the cloth. Use it and take the shovel and the pry bar. Return to the bottom of the stairs, then take a step toward the shed. Turn around and look at the closest stone block, and examine it. Use the pry bar on the close-up. Click on the cord that's revealed and take the dynamite starter plunger thing from the end of it.

Go back around to the table and examine the front of the table. Use the hammer and chisel on the drawer. Take the spool. Use the hammer and chisel on the back of the drawer, then use the front of the drawer to pull it out a little further. Take the key from the secret compartment. Go behind the table and use the key on the locked crate. Take the dynamite.

Go back upstairs, through the cage door to the big head. Examine the mouth. Use the dynamite in the mouth, then the spool on the dynamite, then go back and use the plunger on the other end of the cable. Then use the plunger.

Go back toward the new hole you just made. Stop at the cloth and examine the rubble; take the shiny thing. Then enter the hole.

The Cells

Turn to the right, then take a step toward the chessboard, then turn around and look at the wall to the left of the door you came in. Use the shiny piece in the empty eye socket. You end up behind the cells. Keep going until you come to a door on the right. Enter, turn right, enter the double doors, take the lantern and the crossbow from the table top, and take the ruby pendant from the drawer. Climb up on the table and take the arrows from the shelf. In your inventory, use the arrows on the crossbow, then use the green vampire juice on the crossbow/arrow combination.

Leave the closet, then go back and continue down the path around the back of the cells. You can enter the cells through the second-to-last door. In one of the corners, you find a skeleton that you can interact with. Use it to move it, then use the shovel on the ground where the skeleton used to be. Take the bone. Continue, find another skeleton, dig under it, and take the scroll and the skull. In your inventory, use the ruby pendant on the bone. Also, use the matches on the lantern.

Return to stand outside the closet where you got the crossbow and other stuff, and lay the skull on the ground in front of the closet door. Use the bone/jewel on the skull. Then use the lit lantern on the ground next to the skull. Enter the new doorway, and continue down to the end of the corridor. You hear a monster doing the loud breathing thing. Look up until you locate it, then use the crossbow on it. Go down the stairs, continuing until you come on a hanging skeleton. Examine the metal face, then open the mouth and take Radu's stone. You fall down a long way and yet miraculously are unharmed.

Go out the only way you can, and you end up back in the Transylvanian cemetery from the first Dracula game.

Cemetery

Climb out of the grave, walk to the cemetery gate but don't leave (you can't leave anyway); instead turn around and go into the fenced part. Look at the grave to the left, examine the grate, open it, and read the note. Take another step further into that part of the cemetery and turn to the left and examine the tomb. Take the hand holding the cross. Take another step, then examine the base of the crypt to the right. Use the shovel on that spot and take the missing piece of the St. George mural. Return back to the lit-up mural, examine it, and use the missing mural piece. Go back to the grave you came out of, turn around and face the tree by the cemetery gates, and use the vampire glasses. Use the hand holding the cross on the fog. Dracula's crypt is now open. Go in. Go through the gate, and you're back in Dracula's courtyard from the first game.

Dracula's Castle

First, go into your inventory and make sure the note you got from Kazan's skeleton in the prison cells is turned to the side with the strange lettering. Make your way to the corner of the castle, where there is a spiral stairway going up or down. Go down and approach the figure standing in the back, Dorco. Examine her and talk to her. Ask her about the note, which will be translated next time you look at it in your inventory. Give her Radu's jewel.

Go back out to the courtyard. One of Dracula's minions will cast a spell that seals off the courtyard with a red fog cylinder. Go to the right and up the stairs to the door. Examine the pull ring and use the vampire glasses on it. Then use Dorco's ring. Now you can enter the castle.

Continue to the cave-in, then look down and take the rope/hook. In your inventory, use the rope/hook on the crossbow. Go back outside, and just outside the door, use the crossbow. Aim it across the courtyard, at the second-floor balcony just over the right side of the red fog. Fire, then go that way. Enter the doorway in front of you, and you will find yourself in Dracula's library.

Go to the opposite end of the room and examine the desk. Use it to open it, and take the chessboard paper. Use the pry bar on the left side of the inside of the desk. Examine the scroll. Take the St. George note and use it on the scroll. Move it around to all of the different shapes. Turn the note over and use it on the scroll again. You should be able to get the shapes for numbers 1 through 4 according to what's exposed by the holes.

Backtrack to the door in the middle of the hallway, then turn around and find the hotspot on the wall between the two bookshelves. Use the magnifying glass, then click on the panel to open it. Push the shapes in the order revealed by the scroll. Number one is the middle right shape, number two is the middle top, number three is the middle bottom, and number four is the bottom right. The panel turns around. Take the cross.

Go back outside again, and use the rope as if you were going back to the castle door, but this time jump off into the red hole. Now you can examine one of the graves. Use the pry bar to open the grave, then take the medallion from the skeleton inside. In your inventory, use the medallion on the cross. Turn around and use the vampire glasses on the ground to reveal a pentagram. Use the cross on the pentagram. Face the stairway and then turn completely around. You can now enter the small door that was inaccessible earlier; it leads to the second-floor balcony outside the library.

Cross the balcony and return to the library. Look at the door with the goat-head lock. Use the vampire glasses on the mouth, and then use the cross on the pentagram. Back off, and now you can enter the door.

Examine the chessboard. Use the chessboard from your inventory on any of the letter buttons. The paper will slide under the chessboard. In your inventory, examine Dracula's red book and turn to the page with the chessboard. Use the vampire glasses. This shows the order in which to press the buttons: D, G, C, A, E, H, B, F. Back out and push the buttons in reverse order, so it's really F B H E A C G D. The pieces slide into the same positions as in the diagram in the book. Take back your chessboard paper. Leave the little room and go down to the chessboard floor. This is probably a good time to save.

Examine the chessboard paper in your inventory. The holes in the paper mark the path that you need to take on the chessboard floor, except for me the colors of the squares were reversed. I just went by their position. It's easy to get turned around, so it probably wouldn't hurt to save after each safe step you take. Ah, but wait! When you reach the middle of the floor, the chessboard falls away all around you. Face the door that you were originally aiming for and use the telescope on the door. In the close-up, use the vampire glasses, then use Dorco's ring on the pentagram. You get a fog bridge that you can cross. Use the vampire glasses on the door again, but this time use the cross on the pentagram. Enter the door.

Turn to your right and use the switch on the wall to call the cable car. Take a step toward the cable car, but then turn around and pull the switch on the wall. Step onto the platform that comes out, and then use the switch to the right of the cable car. Enter the cable car. Pull the switch on the left side, then push the red button. Exit the cable car.

The Tower

Go back into the cable car. Take the ladder from the wall, then use it near the back of the car. Climb up and open the hatch, then climb out. Climb up onto the beam overhead. Cross to the other side, then look at the ceiling. There is a faint circle. Save first, then use the circle. Quickly cross to the opposite side of the roof, behind the statue in the middle, and there will be a little area that juts out from the circle. Go in there, look down toward the right, and use the pry bar on the stone head. Take two steps down the stairs that you rolled the head down. There are two pieces of lumber laying on the steps; you can only take one at a time. So take one.

Go back up, and continue around the statue to the right until you see a hole. Go down in the hole. Find and take the white flag and the wood that's under it. Climb back up to the roof and use the lumber on the hotspot next to the cannon. Cross over, then examine the wheel of the cannon. Use it to move the wheel, and then take the cannonball that's revealed. Cross back over, then retrieve your piece of lumber.

Head back to the head-rolling stairs, take three steps down, and then go toward the cannon. Pick up the pail that's lying to the left of the cannon. Go back up, and around to the front of the statue. Examine the snow, then use the pail on the snow. Take the pail full of snow. Go back down to the cannon where you got the pail, examine the cannon, then use the pail on the rightmost square. Use the cannonball on the middle square. Use the white flag on the leftmost square. Back up from the close view. In your inventory, use the matches on the pile of planks, then use the burning planks at the base of the cannon.

Go down to the gap in the steps and use your piece of lumber on the gap. Go back up and retrieve the other piece of lumber, then go back down and use that on the gap. Step onto the second piece of lumber, turn around, and pick up the first piece of lumber. Use it to bridge the remaining gap, and cross over.

Go into the turret on the left. Examine the guy that you killed with the cannon, and take the metal bar from his pocket. Go back out and use the key that Hopkins gave you on the door latch, then go in.

Enter the elevator. Use the metal bar from the dead guy in the slot, then push the down button. Quickly get out of the elevator; when the bar runs out of red, the elevator goes back up. You have to get out and let the elevator leave without you. This time, though, you get as many tries as you need.

Go to the other side. Use the telescope on the drawbridge. In your inventory, use the arrows on the crossbow, but not the green stuff, then use the crossbow on the top of the drawbridge. Shoot the chain that you saw through the telescope, and the drawbridge will come down. Cross it.

Go up or down any one of the three staircases. Turn to the left, go that way, examine the skeleton, and pick up the skull. Return to the staircase. You can either go all the way down the stairs by clicking on the arch at the bottom, or you can choose the step you want to stand on by clicking on it specifically. Go down a little at a time, turning around and making note of the symbols on the stairs as you go. Do not go under the arch yet or you will die. After you have noted the symbols on the stairs, go all the way back up to the top. Look in the green book in your inventory and find the page about Satan's Claws. Note the symbols surrounding the diagram of the people on the ladder. You need to step only on the stairs that have a symbol on this picture. For me, it was really hard to tell which step I was standing on, so I counted up from the bottom. The first one to step on is the very top one, then counting from the bottom, the order of the remaining steps is 8, 5, 4, 2, and then 1. If you did it right, you should hear a click, and then you can go under the arch without dying. From the middle of the floor, turn left, then examine the hand and (try to) take the handle from the palm. Use the skull on the hand, then use the pry bar on the top of the skull. You can reach down through the hole and get the handle. You can now climb out of the pit opposite the stairs, and you are in a room with a platform in the middle, only this time there is a hole in the floor with some cables running through it.

Take any of the stairs besides the set you just came from. This time you end up in a room full of hot lava. To the left is a chain. Pull it. Cross over to the middle. Now you have a timed sequence in which you have to pull the chains in a certain order to turn off all the lava streams. Starting with the one over the ball and numbering clockwise from 1 through 6, the order to pull the chains is 1, 3, 6, 4, 2, 5. After you turn off the lava, you get a new bridge. Cross it. Examine the bird head on the wall and take the handle. Exit through the door that's revealed. You are back to the central platform again, the one with the pyramid this time.

This time you have to go down a specific staircase, the one opposite the drawer side of the pyramid. You are in a sticky-looking root room. Cross the room to the egg and try to take the handle. A figure rises up from the egg. Go back to the middle of the room and use the vampire glasses on the second root clump to the right of the figure. Load up your crossbow with arrows, then use the green stuff on the arrows, then shoot the place on the root that is emitting green beams of light. Use the vampire glasses again on the second root clump to the left of the figure. Shoot the beam-maker's hood with your crossbow, then shoot it again below the hood, then do a close-up of it. In your inventory, use the green bottle on the syringe, then use the syringe on the close-up. Now you can go take the handle and then leave through the door that's revealed. You return to the platform room with the hole in the floor.

Use the staircase that goes up. Go through the door, back into the Satan's Claws room, then cross the room and go out the door on the other side. You will return to the pyramid platform. Examine the pyramid on the side that you can look at, open it, and place the three handles from your inventory where they go. Then back up from the pyramid, open the three drawers that you can open, and take the molds from each drawer. The fourth drawer is still inaccessible.

Go up the upward staircase to return to the lava room. Go to the platform in the middle of the room and examine the cylinder below the ball. Click on the cylinder to open it, then use the three molds from your inventory, starting from the right. Back off from the cylinder close-up, then return to the pyramid and retrieve your handles. Go back upstairs to the lava room and go to the platform in the middle. Click the ball above the cylinder, use it to open it, then use the handles on the shelf that's revealed. Back up until the ball closes, then click to the right of the ball to fire it up. Open the cylinder and take your spiffy new ultra-deluxe handle.

Return to the pyramid and use the new handle on the raised holes. You see a cutscene of an elevator coming up through that hole in the floor of the other platform. Return to that platform by going up the upward-going stairs to the lava room, then crossing the room and going out the other side. Prepare to face Dracula.

At the first timed sequence, use Mina's wedding ring on her hand. At the second timed sequence, use Radu's jewel on the floor in front of Dracula.

That's it.
