Walkthrough by Orb
April 2002
Gate House
Go to the building on your right, and go up the ladder. Click
on the crank to open the door. Go to the back of the room and
notice the first aid kit on the wall. Take the phosphor rods.
Go right and click on the robot. Click on the cable in the closeup.
The robot's hand will open and give you a key. Back out and click
on the three-drawer file cabinet to the right of the robot. Open
the middle drawer and take the X. Go back out and down the ladder
and go right. Forward and to the left is a door to an office building.
Office Building
Click on the door with key you just found. Go forward, then right.
Go in the door. Go forward and read the book on the desk. Go right
and click on the door. To solve this puzzle, the pictures must
be clicked on in the right order so they all stay face up. The
puzzle is randomized, but it is very easy to keep them all open
by trial and error. Once the pictures are all face up, hit the
button in the middle and the door will open. Click on the handle
to the safe. Take the plasma cylinder. Go back out to the door
to the room and turn left. Take the bucket from the right corner
below the window. Go back out. Go right and then left down the
hall. Go into the office on the left.
Office
Turn left, go toward the desk, go right click to open the desk
drawer. Take the red key card from the drawer. Turn around and
go to the machine next to the desk in the corner. Put the card
into the slot on the machine. How this works is that you are given
a multiple choice quiz regarding the science subjects in the game.
When you get one right, the card is given one charge, and the
card will hold five charges total at one time. If you get a wrong
answer, it will not deduct anything, so you can either read the
materials regarding the subjects from either the main index window
of the game or from the machine across this room from the desk.
Or you can just keep guessing until you get five. If your card
runs out of charges during the game, you just locate another charger
to get more.
Go back out of the building and into the street. Go right and
forward. There is a manhole on the ground; click on it to climb
down into the manhole.
Sewer
Go forward, to a screen where it is mostly dark. Use the phosphor
rods on it to light it up. Go forward, then left and forward.
Go right and open the door. This is the generator room. Go through
the room to the door in the back, which leads to the control room.
Go left, forward, left, forward to the desk and put the plasma
cylinder from inventory into the circle in the center of the desk.
Click on the lever located in the middle of the room to make the
main circuit operational. Exit and go back out to the gate house.
Go back up the ladder and back into the room. Turn right and
click on the lever. A green light turns on to the left of the
lever, and the door at the end of the street opens. Go back down
the street and through the big round door, which is now open.
Construction Hall
You cannot go forward yet as the bridge to that door is missing.
Turn left, go forward six times, then go left to a metal door
in an alcove. Open the next door using the key card. Go forward
and look at the oddly shaped slide projector. Back out and go
left, forward, left, and forward to a desk area. Go left and click
on the left drawer of the desk. Click on the book. "Notes
about the Bioplant. For manufacturing effective antibiotics one
needs the following: 1. Mould, 2. Bowl with culture medium, 3.
Pipette with microorganisms."
Turn around. There are two more desks. Go forward, and open the
desk drawer. Take slide 1. Back out and open the next desk drawer,
and take the DNA 3. Go back to the projector and feed it the slide.
Look at the slide. Turn around and go forward and left and recharge
your key card. Go out back outside to the circle.
Go left and forward five times to the wooden door with three
metal bars across it. Use the card on it and go in.
Kidney Room
Go inside to the kidney room and though the door that is open
a crack. There is a big hole in the ground here, and something
is beeping. Go to the right, and click on the big brain, that
big jumbo round thingie with the screen. The beeping stopsthere
is something on the Bioscopia email system. It says "Help,
can someone read my messages? I heard a gate opening ... Is someone
there? I am locked in!"
Back out, go left, then forward. Go into the lowered trap door.
Look down and pick up the DNA 4 from the floor. Back out and go
forward to the stairs. Go up to the second floor.
Second Floor
Go left toward the round pump to the left of the door. Place
the bucket under the faucet, then click on the faucet. Take the
filled bucket with you. Go back downstairs to the entrance room
on the ground floor, the kidney room. Click on the top of the
machine to the left, then use the bucket on it. Take the bucket
back and then click on the bottom where the faucet is and put
the bucket under the faucet. Take the bucket and go back to the
second floor. Click on the top of the machine to the left of the
door and use the bucket on it. Pull the door chain by clicking
on the base of either chain and go into the laboratory.
Laboratory
Look at the book on the table, which says 37. Go to the vent
at the end of the experiment set up on the left side of the room
in the corner. Click on the vent cover, and the enzyme key 2 will
fall down. Take it. Turn to the left of the vent, and click on
the book. Note that it says "The dining commons can only
be accessed via the ventilation shaft. There's a door in the kitchen
that can be opened with the following code: 2009." Go back
out to the main circle.
Construction Hall
Go back to the construction hall, the first area in the main
circle that you were in. Go read the email on the big brain and
load up the key card using the card charger. Go to the elevator,
which is the back door to the left. Send it down without getting
in it. Go through over the top of the elevator into the duct behind
it. Go up the ladder and open the door.
Chief's Office
Go through the door and turn left towards the skeleton. Take
the enzyme key 1 from the skeleton's hand. Turn right toward the
books on the shelf. Look at the closeup. Back out and turn right.
Click on the books. Click on chloroplast, nucleus, endoplasmic
reticulum, dictyosome, mitochondrion, cell wall, which are all
parts of the cellthis info is in the overview section of
the Bioscopia menu. Or in this walkthrough. I vote for the walkthrough.
Click on the opening of the ventilation duct and go for a big
ride.
Kitchen
You are now in the kitchen. Go forward, right and around the
table and forward to the open cabinet. Click on it to get a cell
biology symbol chart. Green/Paddle, Yellow/Study, Blue/Outer gate,
Red/Elevator. Go towards the other door in the room, and enter
the combination you got earlier, 2009. Go forward into the dining
room.

Dining Room
Go right and walk to the machine in the corner. Put the 2 enzyme
keys into the rectangle on the front of the machine. Set the number
to 37. Take key card 2. Go back to the fridge and open it up.
Take the mould. Back out, click on the trash can on the left,
and take out circle 1. Go back out to the main circle using the
wood door in the middle of the wall in the dining room (shortcut!).
Go right, forward, right, and open the gate to cell biology (ringed
with yellow and black stripes) with the new key card.
Cell Biology
Go inside. You are in an outdoor area. Go forward, and look to
the right to see big floating thing. Go back and go forward along
the path until you get to the door. Go right at the door and walk
around the side of the building until you can go no further, then
go left and click on the window and go inside.
Study
Go forward to the protocytes and eucytes machine. Set the levers
in this order: down, down, down, up, up, up. The door opens. Press
the blue and red buttons. Turn around and click on the window.
Go left, and pick up the DNA 2 on the table. Go back out through
the window. Go back to the front doorit will now open. Go
in. Go forward to the elevator. Click on the red button to the
right; get in. Click on the middle button, then the top button.
Floodgate
Go forward and right to the protocytes/eucytes machine. Set the
levers up, down, down, up, down, up. Click on the yellow button,
then the red button so you can use the elevator. Go back down.
Cell Biology Study
Go forward, left and open the door. Hey! Another protocytes/eucytes
machine. Set the levers down, down, down, up, up, up. With each
of these, the answer is the samethe mushroom, deer and tree
go up, and the other three go down. Push the green and blue buttons.
The elevator will stay on because the power has been switched
on. Open the door; stop the robot by clicking on him. Go back
up the elevator.
Laboratory
Go forward to the floodgate and go through. Go forward to the
table. Read the note, "Gas Setting 2." Go to the left
side of the table and take the fat beaker. Go to the right side
of the table and take the culture medium; it's the round low glass
tray that's filled with something brownish. Go back down and go
back to the study. Go right and read the email: "My infection
is getting worse. I desperately need antibiotics. Find out, how
you can make it! Please hurry up!" Go back out of this area
to the main circle.
Botany
Go left, and forward three to the next gate, the one with a sideways
Y on the right door. Open it with your key card. Go forward and
open the door with the key card. Go across the wooden walkway
to an elevator. You must solve the flower types quiz for the elevator
door to open. This puzzle randomizes, but eventually (this is
if you do not want to memorize all the details) it will point
to the outside flower petal. Answer that correctly and the elevator
door opens. In the elevator, click on the top button.
Laboratories 1 and 2
Go right, forward and click on the box on the wall. Turn on the
water/H2O faucet. Go left, then read the book. Go back to the
elevator and click on the left arrow button to go to Lab 2. Go
forward and click on the tanks on the right, then on CO2. Back
out, go in straight and down, and click on mineral nutrients and
click on the red button. The plant will start growing and the
lamp will switch to UV light. Note down the code, C6H12O6, 6H2O.

Go back to the elevator and click on the right arrow button to
return to the first lab. Go right, click on the machine, and enter
the code you just got, C6H12O6+6O2+6H2O and click on the lever.
Go left toward the safe, which is that big round thing. Click
on the safe, and get the fertilizer. Go down in the elevator and
back out to the main circle.
Genetics
Go left, forward and open the gate with the upside down Y and
8 on the right side. Go to the building and open the door. Go
forward, turn around and left, and charge the card. Turn around,
then go right and through the doorway.
Auditorium
Go forward, left, forward, and click on the button. Look at the
screen. Go back, left, forward twice, and pick up the O under
the back bench. This is hard to see, but what you are looking
for is a screen that has a counter on the left with dark paper
with a round thing and a pencil on it. If you run your cursor
across the screen, it will point down two different ways. The
one you want is pointing down with the fingers facing you, not
away. Go back out into the front room. Turn right and go forward
to the roundish machine hanging from the ceiling. Click on it
to hear the sound of a lion. Turn around and get into the elevator
in the middle of the room. It will go up automatically.
Upper Floor
Sit in the chair in front of you, the mitosis migraine puzzle
chair. Click on the round metal halo at the top of the screen.
You need to assign the correct parts of mitosis to the pictures.
This puzzle randomizes and is a lot of "fun" because
the pictures in the puzzle look nothing like the pictures in the
description at the Big Brain thing. Here are the different phases
of mitosis and what the pictures they go to look like:
1. Prophasea circle with two Xs in it;
2. Metaphasetwo Xs top and bottom with strings strung
from them in a circle;
3. Anaphasetwo Xs top and bottom pulled apart in their
centers with the strings;
4. Telephasetwo circles;
5. Interphasea single circle.
Once finished, the three picture screens will go blank. Leave
the chair, go across the room to the machine with the dials, and
set them to GTAC, then click on the knob on the top on the right
side. That horrible noise stops. Hallelujah. Go right, and through
the floodgate. Go right, forward, right, and click on the glass
case. Get the DNA 1. Back out. Click on the doorknob of the door
to the left of the glass case. Open the door. Click to get a closeup.
From inventory, put the beaker on the end of the tube, and the
fertilizer to the top of the funnel. Take the wilting agent. Go
back to the Main Circle.
Botany
Go back to botanyright, then forward three to the door
with the sideways Y. Go down the wooden path to where it forks
to the left, just before the door. Use wilting agent on the plants.
The door opens. Put all the DNA keys in the receptacle. It opens.
Take the ball. Note the color circle combination, purple, blue,
red, yellow, green, blue, yellow. Go back to the main circle.

Zoology
Go right, then forward six times to the gate with the colored
circle on it. Insert the ball into the receptacle. Press color
combination purple, blue, red, yellow, green, blue, yellow, and
go through the door.
Foyer
Turn right, then go forward to the sound machine on the wall.
Note the wave form and picture of an eagle. Turn and go forward.
You can refill your card here if you like. Click on the window
and go inside.
Ventilation Duct
Go forward, left, forward, forward. Take the screwdriver. Back
out, go right, forward four, to another sound machine. Click on
it and note the frog sound. Back out, go right, right, forward,
left, and look through the opening where the fan is. Go left,
forward, right down the hall. You will come out behind the robot.
Click on it to get a closeup and use the screwdriver on the red
screw on his back. Click forward on the control panel and take
the Y key. Back out, turn around, and go through the door.
Giraffe Room
Go right, and read the email, which says, "Did you make
the antibiotic? I'm very weak ... I don't have much time left
... why don't you help me!" Exit, turn around, click on the
big gold beetle on the wall next to the grid, and click on the
cord underneath it. Welcome to the unicellular-multicellular (bugs)
quiz. This puzzle randomizes. Here are all the answers:
- Dermaptera/Earwigs: 1,300

Animal Lab
Go forward and right toward the device on the wall. Click on
the bottom knob to turn it to O. Back out, turn around, and go
to the sound machine. Note the wave and eagle sound. Go right
and note the number on the board that is underlined, 225. Take
the slide on the desk. Go back to the main circle.
Human Biology
Go right, then forward two, and put the X and Y from inventory
in the slots. Go through the door and into the building. Go right
and read the email. Go to the machines in the back and get a closeup
of the one with six pictures. This is the nervous system puzzle.
It is randomized and is again based on the big brain machine info.
There are only six different pictures; look at the screen below
to see which number goes with which picture and enter the right
ones in.

The machine to the left opens; take the left syringe. Back out
and go right through the next door.
Hall
Go forward until you get to the machine in the middle of the
room. Click on the switch on the left to open. Use the syringe
on the robot's arm. The hand will open. Take the wrench. Back
out and click on the chairs to the right. Click on the book and
read it. Note the code 1804. Turn around, click on the projector
(doesn't it look like a little pig?), and use the slide from inventory
on it. Look at the projection and note the underlined number 135.
Leave and go back to the Main Circle.
Zoology
Turn left, then go forward twice to the zoology door (the one
with the colors). Enter the color code purple, blue, red, yellow,
green, blue, yellow. Go back to the ventilation duct, to the first
fan that was running, closest to the machine in the corner. Use
the wrench on the bolt to the right of the fan. Go forward twice
to the hatch door on the floor and enter the numbers 225 on the
outer ring and 135 on the inner ring. The door opens; climb down.
Pool
At the bottom of the ladder, take the nylon cord off the hook.
Go up to sound machine and note the image and sound of a lion.
Turn left and go forward. Click on "air" on the far
right. Turn right and click on the diving suit to put it on. Click
down to go into the water. Go forward, then right. Use the nylon
cord on the fan. Go inside.
Secret Laboratory
Click on the gray safe in front of you. Enter the code 1804.
Take the pipette and the Circle 3. Go left and move the face of
the suit to the right to see another sound machine. Note the wave
and the frog. Go right three times and forward, left, forward.
Read the diary on the desk. Go back to the main circle.
Human Biology
Turn right, go forward twice, and go into the Human Biology door
(the XY door). Read the email. Go into the hall. Go all the way
to the back. Click on the gold knob to open the machine. Set the
three sets of pictures just like the screenshot below. Marry up
the animal sounds with the pictures. Click on the turquoise knob.

Bio Plant Room
Go forward to the reactor. Use the pipette on the right. Use
the bowl with culture medium in the middle. Use the mold on the
left. Back up and click on the lever on the left. Click on the
faucet. Go back to the entrance to the main circle, in front of
the inner courtyard.
Inner Courtyard
Go back inside the inner courtyard. Go inside the reception building,
forward, then down the left hall and left into the office. Go
forward and put the penicillin into the air mail tube. Click on
the lever. Read the email. It says to go to the surveillance monitor.
Safe
Go back to the front reception room. Go forward to the monitor
and turn on. Note down the activation numbers; these randomize.
Note down the status of the circles (big wheel at 7 o'clock mark,
middle wheel on 3 o'clock, small wheel on 12 noon). Leave the
building and return to the main circle.
Main Circle
Go back to the main circle. Go right and click on the machine
on the left. Attach circle symbols to the machine. Enter the activation
numbers. Move the circle symbols to the right position. Do this
by clicking on the red buttons next to the number buttons and
then moving the corresponding circle.
Enjoy the endgame sequence.
